WAIVER AND RELEASE OF LIABILITY

In consideration of my voluntary participation in the “Hangout” , I acknowledge, understand, and agree to the following:

1. Assumption of Risk

I acknowledge that participating in the Activity involves inherent risks, including but not limited to, physical injury, illness, damage to personal property, and even death. I voluntarily assume all risks associated with the Activity, whether known or unknown, and I take full responsibility for my participation.

2. Release from Liability

I, on behalf of myself, my heirs, executors, and assigns, hereby waive any claims against, and release ‘A Worthy Hangout’ , its officers, directors, employees, agents, volunteers, and representatives from any liability, claims, demands, actions, or causes of action related to any loss, damage, injury, or death that may occur as a result of my participation in the Activity. This waiver extends to negligence or other acts by ‘A Worthy Hangout’ , but not for reckless or intentional acts.

3. Health and Fitness

I confirm that I am in good health and physically capable of participating in the Activity. I have no medical condition that would prevent me from safely engaging in the Activity, and I agree to inform the organisers of any relevant medical conditions prior to participation. I take full responsibility for monitoring my physical condition during the Activity and agree to cease participation if any discomfort or risk to my health arises.

4. Compliance with Safety Guidelines

I agree to comply with all safety instructions, rules, and procedures as directed by ‘A Worthy Hangout’ and its representatives. I understand that my participation in the Activity is contingent upon following these guidelines, and failure to do so may result in my removal from the Activity without refund or compensation.

5. Indemnification

I agree to indemnify and hold harmless ‘A Worthy Hangout’ from any and all claims, actions, damages, or demands arising out of or related to my participation in the Activity, including any legal fees incurred by the organisers as a result of my participation.

6. Medical Treatment

I consent to receiving any necessary medical treatment in the event of an injury, accident, or illness during the Activity. I understand that I am responsible for all associated costs and agree to release ‘A Worthy Hangout’ from any claims related to medical care, including liability for treatment decisions.

7. Photography and Media Release

I grant permission for ‘A Worthy Hangout’ to take photographs or video recordings during the Activity, and I agree that these images may be used for promotional or commercial purposes without compensation or further consent.

8. Legal Jurisdiction

This waiver shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. I agree that any disputes related to my participation in the Activity shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

9. Alcohol Consumption

At A Worthy Hangout, we aim to create an enjoyable and safe environment for all attendees. To ensure everyone has a positive experience, the following alcohol policy is in place:

1. Alcohol Consumption

  • Attendees are welcome to consume alcohol responsibly during events hosted by A Worthy Hangout.
  • Excessive consumption of alcohol is strongly discouraged, and attendees are expected to moderate their intake.

2. Responsibility for Actions

  • A Worthy Hangout accepts no liability for the behaviour, decisions, or actions of attendees who consume alcohol.
  • Attendees are solely responsible for their conduct and any consequences that may arise from overconsumption.

3. Drink Driving Laws

  • If attendees plan to drive after consuming alcohol, they are reminded to strictly adhere to the UK’s drink-driving laws.
  • Driving while under the influence of alcohol is illegal and dangerous. Attendees are encouraged to arrange alternative transportation if they consume alcohol.

 

By attending A Worthy Hangout, attendees agree to comply with this policy. Let's work together to ensure a safe and enjoyable atmosphere for everyone.

Refund Policy

You may cancel a booking up to 24 hours before the event start time and receive a full refund of the booking cost minus any fees, unless stated otherwise in the particulars of the booked event.

Cancellations made less than 24 hours prior to the start time of the event will not receive any refund.

If you wish to cancel a booking please contact us by email (admin@aworthyhangout.co.uk) or phone (07738 108 368) so we can process your refund.
